someone made a panda sarafina video, and it’s kind of awesome

 

The only thing that has gone more viral than Desiigner’s smash hit, “Panda” is the amount of parody videos that people have decided to make to the beat of the song. If the Panda-train has taught us anything, it’s that today’s generation doesn’t deserve the internet.

We’ve seen everything from a Monster’s Inc parody, to a Rebecca Malope re-dub but the latest video that we’ve stumbled across really takes the cake.

In light of South Africa’s youth day, which took place on the 16th of June 2016, a lot of people took the time to re-watch one of our country’s finest films, “Sarafina”.

The triumphant dance scene at the very end is inspirational. So inspirational that someone looked at it and thought, “I wonder how it would look if these people were dancing to ‘Panda’ instead of ‘Freedom is coming’”.

Let’s not lie, though. This was kind of awesome.
